Is this a paid internship?
Students who are selected may receive a monthly stipend that is based on education level and experience. Stipends are provided by the institutions that offer the
applicant a position. If a lab does not have the funds to cover the stipend, they may invite you to join the lab as an unpaid volunteer.
Do undergraduate students need to provide test scores?
If you are in your second undergraduate year or beyond, then you do not have to provide your test scores.
Can I apply if I am not a citizen or permanent resident of Ghana?
Yes, our programs are open to world citizens. This is a great way for you to experience and
appreciate the various ways other cultures and civilisations besides your own care
and treat their sick.
Is there a minimum GPA to participate in this program?
No, the program does not take into consideration your academic performance but your willingness and passion to become a better healthcare provider and holistically a better citizen of your country and the world.
Do I need to be available for the entirety of the Internship Program?
No, internship start and end dates can vary depending on the intern’s schedule and the needs of the department
